651. M1816 HARPER’S FERRY PERCUSSION MUSKET. .69 cal. Dated 1831 on lock plate with eagle over “U.S.” Barrel is 42” L. Shows rusting to barrel and all metal fittings. Missing ram rod.


652. M1861 EAGLEVILLE, MANSFIELD, CONNECTICUT PERCUSSION MUSKET. .58 cal. Dated 1862 on lock plate with eagle and “U.S./Eagleville” at right. Barrel is 40” L. Shows rusting to barrel and all metal fittings. Missing ram rod.


653. M1861 SPRINGFIELD PERCUSSION MUSKET. .58 cal. Dated 1864 on lock plate with “U.S./Springfield”. Barrel is 40” L. Shows rusting to barrel and all metal fittings. Missing ram rod. Shows some loss to wooden shoulder stock at left side.


654. 19TH CENTURY BURNSIDE CARBINE. .54 cal. Has matching serial numbers on frame and breech block. Barrel is 20” L. Shows pitting to barrel and all metal fittings. Stamped on top of frame “Burnside Patent/March 25th 1856”. Stamped on side “Burnside Rifle Co./Providence, R.I.”


655. WINCHESTER MODEL 1873 RIFLE. .44 cal. Third Model. Carbine style. S/N 268165. 20” round barrel. Shows pitting and some rusting to receiver and barrel.


656. LATE 19TH CENTURY REMINGTON ROLLING BLOCK RIFLE. Remington three line stamp on upper tang. Has illegible brand on neck of wooden shoulder stock. Has sight and ram rod. Shows pitting and rusting to barrel and metal fittings. Barrel is 34.5” L.


657. SPRINGFIELD MODEL 1884 TRAPDOOR RIFLE. .45-.70 cal. S/N 134219. Stamped on top of trapdoor “U.S./Model/1884” and stamped on side of lock plate with eagle and “U.S./Springfield”. Neck of wooden shoulder stock is engraved “SWP/1891”. Top of shoulder stock is stamped “D/23” and right side of stock is stamped “12/258”. Has ram rod. Shows rusting and pitting to barrel and metal fittings. Barrel is 36” L.


658. SPRINGFIELD MODEL 1884 TRAPDOOR RIFLE. .45-.70 cal. S/N 551441. Stamped on top of trapdoor “U.S./Model/1884” and stamped on side of lock plate with eagle and “U.S./Springfield”. Neck of wooden shoulder stock is engraved “SWP/1891”. Top of shoulder stock is stamped “9/H/22” and right side of stock is stamped “9”. Has ram rod. Shows rusting and pitting to barrel and metal fittings. Barrel is 36” L.


659. 19TH CENTURY DOUBLE BARREL PERCUSSION RIFLE. Highly ornate with engravings on lock plates and wood stock. Marked on both lock plates “J. Duer. Jun”. Rifle shows crack to wooden stock at left side and a crack on trigger guard. Has ram rod. Barrel is 29.5” L.


660. 19TH CENTURY PERCUSSION RIFLE. Smooth barrel is 36” L. Has oval mark on top of barrel. Missing ram rod. Shows severe rusting and pitting to barrel and metal fittings with wear and aging to wood. Overall length: 51.75” L.


661. M1816 PERCUSSION MUSKET. Illegible stamp on lock plate with eagle and “Midd’n Conn.” Also stamped “1822” on lock plate. Round barrel is 36” L. Has damaged ram rod and cap box built into wooden shoulder stock. Shows wearing to wood and rusting and pitting to barrel and metal fittings. Overall length: 51.25” L.


662. 19TH CENTURY J. & W. ASTON HALF STOCK PERCUSSION MUSKET. .69 cal. Stamped on lock plate “J. & W. Aston”. Round barrel is 42” L. Has metal ram rod. Shows severe wearing to wood with some cracks and rusting and pitting to barrel and metal fittings. Overall length: 58.25” L


663. M1861 COLT PERCUSSION MUSKET. .58 cal. Stamped on lock plate with eagle and “Colt’s Pt. F.A. Mfg. Co./Hartford, Ct.” and also stamped “1864”. Stamped on top of barrel “1864”. Has metal ram rod and bayonet with leather sheath. Round barrel is 40” L. Bayonet is 22” L. Shows good patina to wood with some rusting and pitting to barrel, metal fittings, and bayonet. Overall length: 56” L.


664. M1861 SAVAGE PERCUSSION MUSKET. .58 cal. Stamped on lock plate with eagle and “U.S.” and also stamped “Savage R.F.A. Co./Middletown, Ct.” Dated 1863 on lock plate and top of barrel. Stamped on wood on reverse side “N.J.” Missing ram rod. Round barrel is 40” L. Shows good patina to wood with evidence of wear and use. Shows some rusting and pitting to barrel and metal fittings. Overall length: 55.5” L.


665. SMITH & WESSON .38 S&W CTG REVOLVER. Top break .38 cal. 5 shot. S/N 46417. Barrel is 6” L. Patent dates on top of barrel are illegible. Gun shows rusting and pitting. Left side of grip shows some loss.
